Ice built up on N side of house; make sure
you get them downspots going, avoid damage
on your roof.

Few handfuls of the chemical ice melting pellets, not
rock salt , above each down spot will help.

Just a tip for the Illilnois folks.

north side of my house is a frozen tundra....even last weeks thaw didn't do much good....temps yesterday and today (morning) were 12 and 14 degrees....supposed to hit the 60's this weekend.....WOOHOO...time to pull out the short pants
