And how are you so certain that isn't just a rock? Straight lines don't occur in nature but curvatures occur EVERYWHERE. not trying to bust your chops. But you're too confident without the proof

Scotty was correct. That caravelle was salvaged a long time ago. No treasure or pearls. The aft section of the ship was used to build a part of a gentleman's house in Brawley/El Centro. As far as I know, the bow section is still there under a lot of sand. It gets exposed every once in a while.

Yeah I know the story. I have the pearl ship book. So why are there no pics

I haven't read that book. I have read shorter versions in other books though. I know the guys name and where he lives.

Elmer carver How he was working on the ranch for ol man Jacobson? His wife shows Carver a chest full of jewels saying she got it over there(points off in the desert). Carver doubles back and follows ol man jacobsons tracks through the dunes and comes upon the ship. He goes inside to find all the treasure taken.

If you find the last name of the guy I have, then I will confirm it for you. His first name is Sal. I don't know him well enough to give his contact info to anybody, but if you come to me with it, I will confirm it for you. The ship (what's left of it) is not "IN" Brawley/El Centro. It is on the South side of the Highway going East to Cibola.

I have been posting and looking over this site for a few months now as time allows. Where do you get all your info and do you ever do any prospecting or gem hunting etc not far from Las Vegas as I would love to have some of your insight on places to go or even what not to spend my time searching for. I realize this is a pretty broad question but am tired of getting little bits of gold and no real good relic or gem finds. Any help is appreciated.

South of the 78(lots of land) or south of the 8(not a lot of land due to Mexican border)

Sorry, but it's waaaay off... Many people have known about the ship petroglyph, and there was even a expedition down in Mexico that supposedly found the mast of a " very " old ship. But the only one that has said he saw the ship was the Elmer Carver connection. Last week I spent nearly 4 hours listening to the writers audio recording of Elmer's interview and will be heading down that way this week. I am trying to find a particular landmark, and if I can, I think I will be able to get real close... God willing!!!

Hi all

I want to write my opinion about the region of the pearl ship .
The Salton Sea to connect ( and to be navigable ) the sea of Gulf of California , needs to be about 50 ftand more higher than the sea level . So the coasts of the Salton Sea when was connected with the Gulf of California , were about 50 ft higher than today . The logic says how to disconnect the two seas , the Salton Sea could decrease about 15 ft . So , we seek the ground level of the dry Salton Sea where is about 35-40 ft higher over the sea level .
I made a research and I believe how the region of the ship is in Mexico . I made a map which shows the region in the red circle .
I believe the petroglyphs were made from the natives who have seen the ships or from the Spaniards when they went back to their base . I believe Davies Valley and Pinto Canyon are too high from the sea level to can admit any approach of ships .

I want to add something to the previous post . A picture from GE for how should looks the Salton Sea if was about 60 ft higher than the sea level .

But...... if the seas were not disconnected and the water was about 48 - 50 ft over the sea level , then the scenario changes .
The only way to pass to the Gulf of California was close of today Delta city ( I named it Delta Pass ) , where is the deeper ground level of this region but the higher ground level between the Salton Sea and the Gulf of California . This region has the lower deep at 46 ft . So is the most possible region to stuck the ship on the sand .



Is just my opinion but is the most logical from a scientific perspective .
