I say better to be safe than sorry.....its just more work for me. Which I like !! I'll get at least 4 paid days if it misses us !! I dont mind getting paid to batten down my bosses boats and homes. I just have to take care of my stuff first. Then it's all about making money from the storm prep....both before and after.

Here's a pic of the halibut. Now, a friend fixed this recipe for us using walleye, and it was delicious! It was not the same using halibut. It was tough for starters. First time cooking, honey said he probably over cooked it. Still, it was not as tough as the hamsteak I cooked the night before. It was not as flavorful as the walleye was either. I suspect I didn't add enough garlic powder. Consensus is, "We have plenty of fish to experiment with different recipes and cook time."

Bill I dont have a choice....timing is key in these events. Everyone likes to wait and it always seems that everyone wants to prep at the same time. So I personally have to prep myself first.....then I can focus on my bosses assets tomorrow into sat if need be. If not...well I'll leave some shutters up till the end of the season. And just open the front. I have a glass hurricane door in the back that is new since Irma. The old ones glass blew out behind the shutter in Irma. No water came in but the glass broke. It will be different with a glass door....just seems impossible that its rated for a hurricane !!
