Happy Sunday morning Jim, ARC, Rook and Bart.

I say 'happy' because as of Thursday this week, I'm off work for 11 days.

I feel a big post in daves future....give the man some time to swing....and he'll have a good thread to post !! Enjoy the time off dave !!

That's pretty incredible that a local artisan/friend was able to make these using Max's fur. This is something you'll treasure for years to come. I always liked this pic of Max.

Thanks Dave
The woman said she had to remove the guard hairs before putting through the spinning wheel.
This is Max's favorite time of the year. 02/21

Morning Bart
That must of been a blast getting a big fish on like that for your son.

I posted a picture up of my favorite bronze spike find.
They put it down as Roman on the export papers.

Jim, Yeah we got a pretty good shot of snow last night.

Was going to post this in the picture thread.
But decided to post this amazing prehistoric recovery with the pirates.
What it is believed to be is a "Ark's big toe"
Yes the " Old pirate stubbed the big one on the gang plank"
Dropped off-I recovered out of the surf, many moons later.

Thanks for the encouragement Bart.

But with all the snow we received yesterday and temps below 32f for the next week or so, I'm relying on your finds from sunny Florida to keep me warm over Christmas.

Good morning Rook and Bill.

What is a layer of snow?

Easy to see where you detected
An insulating blanket so the ground doesn't freeze up too quick
Place to set down the lunch drink-instant cooler pack
Place to wash off the finds
keeps the coil clean
Remember to spray Pam cooking oil on coil-makes for a nonstick surface/glides easily over snow crust
Never limit the explorations because of the snow
(Message brought to you from hermit looking out his windowsill snuggly and warm)

No problem Bart
Keeping the shoreline open for your next diving experience.

I got the other part of my toilet seat hinge !! As I explore this abandoned town im finding more and more streets and home sites....im marking my spots with bottles in trees, and as I familiarize myself with this spot I start and detect each area where finds were made before moving out in a further search pattern.

This would have held the lid in place over the toilet seat !!
