Got to hunt a few hours before the stormed came. The is old home premission I've got is Purdy neat. While I was there around 9 am. the owner drives up as well as another car. I assumed the car was Jesse's helper. They talked a few minutes while I was detecting under this pecan tree. Jessie walks over and says, the gall of some people. I said what. He said the guy told him that his son had bought this place and he just wanted to look inside for a while. Jessie ask the guy his son's name . The guy stammered around and said something. Jessie told the guy to go home and tell his son that I , the guy you just talked to owners this house. people do strange stuff these days. All I found yesterday was a case pocket knife about 21/2 " long and I gave it to Jessie.

We had a really bad one some 35 miles north west of us. It tore up a bunch of houses. Had one go south through the outer limits of Columbus and did some damage. I haven't seen the news this morning yet but I believe it'll be a bit more than im thinking. They tracked the north storms winds at 148 mph. It had a debris field seen from space. That's a bad storm.

Yes it is. Glad you and the bride are safe. That is too close for comfort.

My Dads estate is on hold for awhile.
Going to be quite a while...
Meanwhile when anyone asks about taking something (most anything) I'm fine with it.
Four months(?) now and I still have not put guns in the hands of those that requested particular ones.

So , don't think you're not movin very fast.
It's diggin a hole with a teaspoon while as my sisters put it asking, "are we going up the stairs,or down the stairs?"

I think it is the itty bitty spoon that says, "DASH."

.

Glad you are safe, Rook. Kudos on the knife and giving it to the owner.

I made it!!! Yea!!!

Good morning WD! ARC, Simon, Rook! And our illustrious crew!

Rook, people are strange and their brass and gall is even weirder.

WD, I got to the point when cleaning out my mom's stuff, I knew I couldn't keep it all, I took pictures of some things that I didn't want to let go of but couldn't keep. Not the valuable stuff, but the emotional stuff. It did help, I could look at the pics and remember, with out having to move into a tent to use our house for storage. Hope your doing better, praying for you.
