You certainly do have a slim waistline.
Query: Where does the sole go, front or back?

Standard Mark

The standard mark indicates the fineness of the alloy used. There are five standard marks on silver from the UK:

The walking lion (lion passant) guarantees a fineness of 925/1000 (sterling silver) for pieces made in EnglandThe standing lion (lion rampant) guarantees a fineness of 925/1000 (sterling silver) for pieces made in GlasgowThe thistle guarantees a fineness of 925/1000 (sterling silver) for pieces made in EdinburghThe crowned harp guarantees a fineness of 925/1000 (sterling silver) for pieces made in DublinThe Britannia symbol guarantees a fineness of 958/1000 (sterling silver) for pieces made in England. (this standard was primarily used between 1697 and 1720)

Sorry, blossom. I got side tracked . Back to your spoon. I will try to work on it.
Is this spoon in another post/thread? Such as Today's Finds? So I can get more info.
Are you taking pics with a phone or a real camera? The pics aren't very defined on my end. Maybe post a pick where it is in focus, no matter how small. Can you tell us what your eyes see? I couldn't make anything out, until Pepper flipped it. Then I seen the Lion passant, somewhat. Then it looks like maybe a number 5 next. Maybe?
