Bart ... also... IF they do away with the whole permit / red tape crapola for wreck retrievals...
I have some spots that deserve a look by those who are motivated to do so.
BUT...
Until the rules and people with the "we are the only capable ones so let us only do it only" attitude are set right and come to their senses and realize the "let it rot till we get to it" way has produced so little and lost so much with the long lame snails pace reclaiming / saving / preservation of our history that is currently the totally not right way.
And continue to block those that are motivated with the initiative and resources required to save it.
And even allow recovery BUT without reward incentives.
And dont give credits to who credits are due.... with reward.

Until these things are no longer a factor...
I will remain silent.

My attitude has and will always be... "you want it ? - you go find it... do your f---ing job"

They want it handed to them for free... AND THEN make money off of it.
This has got to stop.
People have got to grow a brain and adopt the UK's stance on finds.
The control freaks have had their way for far too long.

Mornin all.
Cleared snow out back for the dogs before I had coffee.
That is so wrong.
And probably not healthy.
I still feel short a cup.
I better go brew some more.

Push a broom.
Push a shovel.

Well if your dogs are like ours, it’s either that or they’ll just do their business on the porch.

Good morning everybody
Mornin Evan!

I'll take it elsewhere and not pay any ransom to express myself on the charter section...see ya !!
I came to the same conclusion long ago for a multitude of reasons. no more charter for me and no more content of my finds provided to this site. I am now just a viewer here who occasionally tries to lend a hand to identify stuff. Sad but it is what it is.

Not going to get warm enough to thaw until tomorrow afternoon
If the sun is shining you may still get some melting. We've got water dripping from snow melt outside, even though it's only 8 degrees F. Bright and sunny.

Yes sun melted it along with the wind.
I've always found it strange that snow and ice can just evaporate without melting, or at least that's how it seems. Sun and wind, and the thin stuff just disappears.

Well I attempted to plow my sugar bush trails today.
Got mired down 3x, dug a 20ft Tundra out plus plow.
Stuck a few more times but managed to get going without the shoveling. Only got one loop done.
Totally beat from that workout.

One advantage to the Heavy 350 Ford Super Duty.
Usually I'm feeling way to long and heavy for finesse work though of course. .

Cool home snow plough rig!
Guys used to sell the reverse of that here to drag behind a 4WD and clear scrub off of gold bearing areas. Banned yrs ago though.
