me- How about a little drive out in the desert to enjoy the cactus and lack of wildlife?
her- I don't wanna sit in the car while you metal detect for hours!
me- Ahhh, no sweetie, just a drive and a little walk around to enjoy nature. (Perfect opportunity to follow a lead on a new ghost town I've been researching)
me- Isn't it nice out here today?
her- Yes, and I can't believe you didn't bring the detector.
me- Hey, look over there! It looks like an old fireplace chimney sticking up, let's check it out!
her- Look at all the broken glass and china on the ground. You should come back here with your detector!
me- Good idea!

Picture is likely a flock of blackbirds post migration. Or planning a migration in autumn somewhere; depending on date of picture.
You know the warm ups flying around en masse and making a ruckus.
