Go-o-o-od afternoon y'all! Clear blue sky here with temperature in the mid-30'sF. Got a haircut today and had some watches fixed... two batteries changed and a new watch band adjusted. Ground frozen and too cold for my semi-ancient body to detect!

Well started selling off some firearms, accessories, and other gear. Seriously considering selling the metal detector also. Im just not seeing me using it much. Also I got a few other projects id rather invest in.
Rockhounding is a different story! Im having way too much fun with it! Its definitely my jam!

You speak the truth! I keep a bucket and tools in my jeep now! Just for random roadside or creek expeditions. I may drive into NC tomorrow after I pick up my new tv. The whole way to my destination is full of possibilities for finding some cool stuff!
For me it started a few weeks ago with a cheap 365nm uv lightband some luck! Now I have 2 books with a 3rd coming on rocks and minerals in Georgia, 1 backpack and a tacticool briefcase, estwing rock hammer,estwing masonry hammer,and a few other estwing things,chisels,more uv lights in 255nm,310nm,convoy c8 uv 365,yooperlites max uv+ and more to come!
Did I need all that to get started....nope! I just know when I have that much fun from the start. I may as well go all out,because its a lasting thing. Unlike my other random ideas like Mountain boarding!...look it up! I love it ,but my wife hats me doing it and the doctors at the ER are sick of seeing me!
