Unless they run by here on foot, ( which I doubt happens ), I am safe. Our state does have lenient Stand your ground law so I could probably camp out on my roof with a completely legal silencer and watch the neighborhood Hope it never gets to that. This isn't Chicago.

Well Bart, my upstairs office has a window facing that area and I always have a light on. I am going to place some dark curtains with a lining on that window so, from the outside, it looks dark. Twice in one day with a total of three times in one week is getting scary.

There's usually one of those shooting in and around Boston on a daily basis.
The gangs are either staying home in fear of covid 19 or the press are focused on covid19 and not reporting any shootings.
They have "shot spotter" hear that alerts the police dept when gun shots are detected, and in what area. Then they go around asking for security videos in the area.

Boston has a population of 685,094 in 2017

We have a population of 217,521 in 2017 and for 2 in one day just a couple houses away seems high.
Our local news is dedicated to nothing but the Covid-19, I even went on-line and none of the local news channels have the shootings listed.
About 6 months ago a Joint Task Force raided and arrested like 6 gang leaders and the LEO said there should be a drop in crime. Somehow I believe what that did was open up competition for the gangs to claim dominance and more territory which has resulted in more gang related crimes.

It's kind of ironic, just on the news, our state health commissioner has tested positive for covid19. And they are telling people coming into the state to self quarentine.
