I think I burned out my computer researching this. There seems to be two manufacturers of these kits, but there code numbers are similar so I wonder. They are both cast iron kits. The best appearant kit is the Vogelzang deluxe airtight kit. It has nice things like spring counterbalanced air intake regulators and those spring handles on the doors. It has an ash clean out drawer. BK500E
They also make the regular kit without ash drawer. Bk50E top barrel kit $34.99 and BK100E bottom kit $49.99
Shipping is around $20. Thats the best price I could find. I am getting the 2 barrel assy. because I am going to put 50' of 1/2" tubing in the top drum to heat water to circulate thru the 2000' of PEX in my slab. I already have everything installed for the system. Anyone ever tried this? Frank...
