At my fathers house found about 20 of these when digging a line for a pipe. Brought my metal detector and pinpointer to find more and it doesn't set off a signal on the pinpointer or the ace 250 any ideas what it could be? Thanks for the help.

I don't think it's a musket ball it's not uniform all the way around. It's about an inch inch and a half

If the diameter is 1.5 " it is not a mini ball or musket ball it is too large of a caliber. It would be more like grape shot.

I've never seen grape shot made of lead like that though, aren't they usually iron? It seems like if it were lead or iron it would make your detector and pin pointer go off.

Could be ceramic media, used for polishing or grinding.
