This spot has been my best water site for early to mid 20th century coinage and today it did not disappoint. First two signals were a silver quarter and the Barber dime. It slowed down after that but did manage another GW. Found the silver rosie at one of my colonial spots a few days ago:BangHead:

A great day - congrats !

Nice finds! Hey when you go water detecting what kind of gear do you wear? Waders? Wetsuit? Boots etc... What's your standard set up?

Nice toasted silvers, toasted! lol
That rosie looks like a water find as well.

Grats!

Hip waders, stealth scoop, Equinox 600 and a lot of excercise. I just dump out scoop on beach and wave handfuls over the coil if I do not see it right off. No pinpointer

Thanks. Ill take toasted silvers over no silvers and I prefer not having to get permission where I hunt. Water has been better to me than land in recent years anyway

Thanks for the info always helpful to hear what works and I can tell by your finds you got it down good! Thanks for advice... Yeah I try to look for the hard bottomed areas but where I am it's pretty much mud everywhere.

Love all the silver! :occasion14:
