Hey all, it's been some time since I've posted....time with the family and hardly any chance to get out...Glad to be back!!! Now I will have to catch up on all the great post most of you have been posting!
I managed to get out yesterday for 4 hours and about 8 hours today, here is the finds for the combined last 2 days...
I was finally able to knock off a big bucket lister off!! with a Luckenbooth silver trade brooch and about 5 minutes later I hit an early 1900's pocket spill, my biggest silver spill to date(8 silver-posting a few samples found)...Didn't think my day could get any better today after pulling out a 1920 fifty cent piece but I was able to squeeze out this nice little early 1700's trade axe!....Other finds include a perfectly working Mag lite,musket balls, buttons, and old crusty copper...Bonus of the day was the deer antler found right in the french cellar hole!.... I am just stoked about the native trade brooch!! Thanks for looking....

That silver trade brooch is one for the display case, that's for sure! :treasurechest::notworthy:

Nice brooch in great condition. What is the date range on these? Mid - 1700s?

Still doing research but looks like you may have nailed it on the head...

That's a really cool piece of silver. Awesome.
The half dollar appears to have a large die crack, (is it, or am I seeing things?) seen a ton of those but not one like that. Just did a google image search and didn't see one like it either ? Two rare silvers. Great day man.

EDIT;

Yup, my mission in life is to at least tie you LOL

I'll be putting in some thought for my next hunt to achieve a banner find to get my lead back to 2! It's my mission in week. ;)
