Treasure Clue, can you help?

Luckpony , i just checked it out . There is a new clue on 6/1. I hope it's more promising than the last one . I think MS knows we are at the brick wall and that may be why we are getting another one so quickly .

Cegodsey , thanks for getting the bee better. Just want to add that i think it's great that you are willing to get these pics for everyone . also i like the way yours come over better .

CMSHUT, I agree. I was just thinking today that we should all email
him and beg for more clues!

About where he would hide the tokens, I was thinking maybe a
place where they have the live web cams. I have seen many on
the net in different cities and on different streets or at beaches,
you get the idea.

I allways think of a story I read on one of the sites ( I don't think
it was this one, if it was please forgive as they are all running together
now and it's hard to keep up with). Anyway they said that they had
put a penny on top of a phone booth outside a restaurant they ate
at all the time.They said it stayed there for many years until they tore
down the place.
Maybe we should do experiments with coins and see where we could hide
them.

A good place to hide coins is in a sofa !!

Joking aside, I think this is what is being referred to as the bee, and the alligator.

Oh, by the way, I need to get this off my chest so that it won't keep bugging me. If a dragon has wings, doesn't that make it a "dragon-fly" ???

AND, Moon like, Moon like (like a moon - not a half moon, nor a full moon), I cause your puzzling. Well, it seems very obvious to me now that this is definitely pointing to the dandelions. Here's the site for everything dandelion:
http://www.botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/d/dandel08.html

Dandelion does somewhat translate to "I cause your pain." So what of "Dreamer one on ending?" Here are some anagrams that I came up with:

Redeem in garden noon.
Redeem dragon in none.
Dragon, need nine more.
Dragon den - Ermine one.
Dragon den - Irene Moen
Dragon den - Ernie Moen
Redeem Dragon One Inn (on nine, in neon...)

Looked up Ernie Moen, got a guy in Minnesota.
http://www.cba-rm.com/portfolio/firstassemblyofgod.rockford.il/

Irene passed away in Austin TX last year.

As to the dandelion clocks, and time, and don't think they relate to GPS coordinates, other that maybe the minutes and seconds. One thing I have noticed about the moon (and I never noticed this until two years ago) - its orbit around earth wobbles. I found out that it moves over a timespan of a month. Each day, it doesn't rise or set in the same place. Thinking about the moon crescent shape, is there a specific date that it is the displayed shape at the displayed angle? This idea is probably deeper than the book goes, but I had to get it out of my head and into yours...

Anyhow, here are your pics:

Oh, one more thing. Some rock info related to the Rusful/Pook fight. A black, glassy rock is obsidian. It is found in these states: Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Utah and Idaho. Quartz (as well as diamonds) are found in Arkansas.

From the Nomenclature book, pg. 38, has anyone noticed the XVII roman numerals in the upper left corner of the book?

And (another pic!). Has anyone determined what this is? It is from pg. 20. It looks like a backwards 1 and a J.

Hi I am new to the forum and would like to wish you all the best of luck, my question is how do you properly insert anagrams into the server?? I tried hint tackle respositorys (not sure i spelled it corect in this email...but entered it correctly into the sever and I do not see Crystal POOK Is Thirteen??? I fear all my anagrams are not coming out correctly?? can someone give me a heads up on this? thanx JMFCA

Cegodsey , thanks for the pics . Yes that's the bee . You do good work . I didn't know how to get in on here better and you did it .

Jmfca , ihave the same problem with the anagrams . I found the best way is by hand . I use the anagram sites as a tool to find words then go by hand . I find the word Token in pickensrooters and kootenstoopits and when i use a anagram site it never comes up . So actually don't know what to say , but WELCOME !

Lucky good idea .

Okay Guys! I work nights at the hospital, so I keep missing the nightly chat times. Can't wait til I get a few nights off to spend ?here! ; ) I'll throw this out now though to give everyone a few nights to read up on it, then we can discuss more on Friday....

About the Celtic connection and a few coincidences I found:
? ? 13 Months~13 Jewels
? ? Celts ?are associated with fairys, dragons, pentagrams and trees
? ? The stages of the ogham journey consists of 5 sets of 5 trees~5 to a side(Pentagram)
? ? The hash marks on the leaf on pg 19 has 3 letters or represents 2 different trees(not sure yet)
? ? 364 days of calendar(28 days, 13 months)~even with one nary
? ?

? ? The Celts have a lunar tree calendar which consists of 13 months. Several of the trees are said to be attractive to "faery" folk. The calendar begins with the full moon closest to Yule. Each month is associated with a phase of the moon and a tree.
? ? The Ogham is an ancient Celtic writing system. It has been said that Druids could 'talk' to each other using their fingers to form the runes of the Celtic Ogham. This would keep their conversation secret from the uninitiated. Here are some links to look into~ maybe someone can make a connection to the other clues?

Anyhow, I realize this is ALOT of information all at once! I've been piecing it together over the past few weeks in a way that could be understood better. Still not exactly sure it relates to any of the other clues, as I think it is possibly an overall understanding of "how MS's brain works". If nothing, it may give us a different way of looking at the same clues, if ya know what I mean! See you guys in a day or two. I'll check back in at work from time to time til then to keep up with the forum...Good Luck!! ?; )

Sorry the links didn't come out right...I'm still new to this thing...LOL

thank you, and I agree that doing them by hand is sometimes a bit easier.

This is the one that I use:

http://wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html

The problem is that they don't do over 18 letters.? So, to see if it works (I checked it, it does work), remove pook is from hinttacklerepositorys to get HNTTACLEREITRYS, and you will get crystal thirteen.

OOOPs I think i wrote LADY BUG an email that was intended for you! Anyway thanks for the help I really appreciate it but, I am still a bit puzzled/courious about how you knew to remove the words pook is ??

Looks like a lower case r.

Katie - thanks for the info. One of the other sites has a discussion going on Ogham, but your post is more informative than anything they had to say. I will look into this more soon.

JMFCA - I didn't. I just used what we already knew. I mean, it could be that it does say something else, but unless I have doubts, I try to build on what other people have already solved. No reason to reinvent the wheel, besides, that was what MS said was correct. Another idea is to take the letters and run them through the anagram solver but instead get the list of EACH WORD it finds. Then you can find a word that sparks your interest and remove that word from the solver and run it again to get more words. Whoever solved it may have seen that POOK could be spelled, then ran the rest through the solver. Or, they may have done it by hand. I'm not "text smart" - so I have to use the solver.
Oh - I do try to at least verify the answer that someone else got. If you don't, you might miss things like "one piece nary" is actually "on piece nary" - with the "e" missing. (The tweleve got it !!)

salkns - good to see you back. I wasn't registered here when you were posting before, but I had been reading the forum since January, so I guess you could say that I know you, but you don't know me... Anyhow, so you think it's an "r" ? Hmm... I'm glad I posted that pic. I'm not sure what "rJ" is, and if it even relates. Thanks for your insight. Good job.

trapape - good to see you back as well!

What happened to pancho_semplice??? Great job posting answers, then just disappeared. PANCHO - YOU OUT THERE?

OK, well I'm going back to bed now. Thanks to the book, I've managed to reverse my days and nights.

Hey all,
I just looked back in my stacks and stacks of papers and found a post
someone hand about the dream. Here is how they worked it out ---

Dreamer= 7 letters
One=3 letters
On= 2 letters
Ending= 6 Letters
I= 1 letter
Cause= 5 letters
Your= 4 letters
Puzzling= 8 letters

Apply the numbers to MOON LIKE in the order they appear :

7 3 2 6 1 5 4 8
M O O N L I K E

Rearange them 1-8 and you get

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
L O O K I N M E

Also someone said : Dream within a dream, like words within words.
I have always thought the puzzles on 63 of CB were important.

Luckypony

Like jbot said.

Besides, I get 732686?7 - which doesn't work.

But on the flip side, I didn't realize each word on that line had an increasing number of letters. Err - you know what I mean.

Yes, it is very simple but I think this shows the importance of letter and number
combinations. Like the numbers in the front of the book.

Luckypony

ok, I read somewhere in these chat areas that there was morse code in the book (however I had no clue where). And then I found it on page 31. I'm sorry if I've missed what the results are to the morse code, but I came up with most of it. I cannot for the life of me figure out one last part of it and need help! What I have from the morse code is : Near The Over Look , but cant figure out the one spot of dashes and dots, could someone please help me if its already been solved
Thanks!
