Treasure Clue, can you help?

I haven't really worked on that page yet. Where do you see the code? From what I have heard that was all of it but would like to see it my self.
I had tried to use the Morse code on a limb on PG 19 ( the lines reminded me of puzzle 31 in CB. I came up with these letters - KATLNIR.
Then I anagramed it and came up with - art link.
Also about seeing animals in pictures, I think I see pook on this page too.
By the leaf with 322 to the right at the bottom in light color.
It looks like the stuffed animal you get with the kit.

I guess the most obvious thing about MS's recent post is that he was recently at the dragonfly token. Wonder where he's been signing books lately? :-\

Luckypony, thanks for responding as best you could to my dilema. I know the code "Nothing to be disturbed thru the lands" is on page 31, but the other message in morse code is the inside of the picture frame. It's all the little red squares, along with lite green squares and rectangles. The red squares are the dividers if you will between the words. The words are the lite green squares and rectangles. I have it all except for the upper left side. It's "dot dot dash dot dash" It starts with the 2nd N in the word nothiNg(spelled out by the fairies)and goes upwards. If someone can figure it out please let me know! I don't have the other book or kit that goes with this Treasures Trove book. Is it worth the money to get it? Maybe thats why I have a hard time understanding some of these things. And what is CB? I'm stumped on that...or maybe just that dumb. Thanks again for any help out there.

Hey caseys40,
Thanks. I will have a look at that. Yes I think the kit is worth it. You get the book,
the audio book, Companion book (CB), and the little stuffed Pook. The CB is a lot of
help as it is full of puzzles that are used in the book, including Morse code. The puzzle he used Morse code is the same picture on the inside of the back cover, but he did not do it in there, and it is lines instead of ...-. That is why I was trying it on the lines in that branch and I just compared it to the puzzle in CB.
The audio book is great to listen to. Sometimes it helps to hear someone else read it, but some of it has been changed a bit, I think for entertainment purposes.

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone else thought that if you turn pg. 57 sideways it looks like California i think it does but can't figure out if this would matter or not at this point I'm not sure.

And i also believe that MS has to be able to see the tokens at all time because if someone gets it how would MS ever know, could he travel to 12 locations everday to make sure they are still there? So i think through some type of camera MS should be able to see all of the tokens.

I don't remember seeing this posted. Does anyone have any ideas on the mushrooms that have some kind of flakes all over them? I think they look like the shards in Rusful's cave. The mushrooms are on several pages, sometimes beside other mushrooms with normal spots. What up?

Dykos , i think it looks somewhat like the area . Are you good at overlaying a map on the picture itself ? I actually have found several things in the illustrations that look exactly like states . I don't know if i posted them or not so let me know and i will . That's if we can anymore on here . Does anyone understand the new photo gallery posted ? I also remeber before when we were dicussing how he can keep an eye on them at all times and someone mentioned a WEB cam . I liked that idea , spider WEB. HA HA . I just can't imagine he has found that many trustworthy people to keep the secret on the locations. I guess i should say that on something like this it would be hard to find someone who wouldn't burst with all the excitement . I know how i am when i get someone a present i know will be perfect and i can't contain myself til i give it to them .

Jbot, i'm going to look at those mushrooms and let you know . Maybe they do match up with the broken glass in the cavern .

I just got back from the stores buying tracing paper and the companion book (CB) :o), along with the magnifying glass that my son bought me last night. Don't know if I'm going to be able to do the crypto's or not, they look hard. Has anyone come up with the solution to my morse code word or words that I still haven't figured out? I'm off to look for more morse codes hidden in the book...thats my agenda for this evening! Happy Hunting All!

Casey, I'll get you the answers to the morse code. As soon as my other half stops complaining. Or nagging, as they say. Anyhow, there are two morse code messages. One uses the red dots to indicate the ends of words, and the other uses the red dots as dots, the green dots being ends of words.

Cegodsey , i tried the other way with the red dots as dots and didn't get zip . Did you get something ? Let me know . Also i figured out the image gallery thing . DUH .

Image Gallery

Carol - OK.

This is my understanding of the image gallery. Not everybody has broadband. When we upload pictures to this thread, we are forcing those with dial-up to painfully wait for all our pictures to load. By using the image gallery, all the dial-up members load is mostly text - which is super fast. PLUS - the image gallery allows dial-up users to see a thumbnail view of the image as opposed to opening the large picture file itself. So it would be wise for us to post our images in the gallery, and refer to them here.

cegodsey, i too tried the morse code with the red dots being dots and cant come up with anything. There are light green "dots" and dark green "dots". So, when you try to come up with a letter using the red as a letter, it doesnt work...at least not for me. Did you come up with something using the red dots as a letter? Still stumped ???

OOPSIE... my mistake.? I got the red dot info off this forum sometime ago, but didn't verify.? Casey, I believe you're right that using the red dots in Morse gives you junk.? Turns out that HandGems has the correct info:

da_midg wrote:
On page 31 the morse code that you're all talking about does say Near The Overlook, but if you use the red squares which are suppose to be dots, in place of the green squares you can decipher it to say Find The Trees Hole

HandGem wrote:
Da_Midg,

Find The Tree's Hole

is also a hidden message within a message found on page's 63 colored alphabet blocks puzzle.
That puzzle says, "Reveals The Name Where The Treasures Abide" but it also says "Find The Trees Hole"
if you only look at certain color patterns.

Also, the stuff at the end of the morse code, from milou:

From what I have heard on tweleve.org,? ..-.- means interrogatory. It's like saying "did you copy that" when typing out morse

Jewels1301 - did you ever figure out what the extra text was on pg. 78?

Also, I'd like to expand on post #352 on pg 4 of this thread.? Everyone should read it, it brought back questions that I still think are unanswered.? Like, has anyone figured out the meaning of the fairies on pg. 36?

One more thing... this probably doesn't mean anything, but I found a place on pg. 19 where MS erased something from the illustration.? It's on the left side, above the drill bit, and to the right of the square.? He used the clone tool in some program four times to cover whatever was there, but didn't do that great of a job.? I'll post what I found in the gallery soon, as well as Jewel1301's poodle.

If you go by the letters by the red dots on the Morse page, and then anagram, you get

Statue o liber she

This was originally posted by Little Casino, who I haven't seen around in awhile

Peggy

Peggy, liberty has an "r" in it, and the red dots don't indicate an "r."

OK all you word sleuths, here are the letters next to the red dots. "e" was repeated, 'cause of two dots by it, and "th" and "la" may need to be combined - the red dot appears on the border to those letters. Could be they need to be taken out, I just don't know.

best ee ue soi th al

Oh, I don't think it's the bile statue in ohio.

I've posted a few things in the gallery, now we gotta wait for an admin to approve them.

PS - the Morse code dots were all added to the picture later by a computer.

HeeHee...

If you take those letters I just gave you, it is possible to get:

Hee Bee at St Louis

or if you don't count the extra "e", you get:

He bee at St Louis

Now the question is, if he bee at st louis, where do she bee?

I don't remember seeing this posted. Does anyone have any ideas on the mushrooms that have some kind of flakes all over them? I think they look like the shards in Rusful's cave. The mushrooms are on several pages, sometimes beside other mushrooms with normal spots. What up?[

Those are Amanita Muscaria (Fly Agaric) Mushrooms. They are Hallucinogenic and legendary in all types of fairytales and cultures. The flakes are actually the way they look. I would figure the ones that look more cartoony would be more likely a puzzle being that the spots are more specific. But thats just my opinion. It is strange that some are illustrated more realistic than the others.? Actually, the location the book led me to is the natural habitat of the Mushrooms among other plants in the book like Purple Thistles. http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/photos/Amanita_muscaria(tfl-c0229-35).jpg

Fairy pointing at start line! pg. 52

I just found a code that I didn't know was there. On pg. 52 - the drop cap O box - there is an angular code around the border and the border of the inside frame. I've seen this somewhere before. I've uploaded a pic of it and I inserted red lines to follow the angles. The fairy points the way! To start, that is. You start at the bottom notch, left side of the notch. Maybe something like this is in the companion book? I don't have it, so I don't know. Anyhow, the pic in the gallery will show upon approval.

If this has already been solved, my apologies for bringing it up again.

Cegodsey , it hasn't been mentioned before . why can't you post the pics on here ? i think the photo gallery is for the other treasure hunters . I checked it out and no pictures from here on it . Please post your pics on here as that is what i'm going to do with mine . carol. i don't think the bee is here , but thanks for the anagram .
