Treasure Clue, can you help?

I've been away from the hunt for awhile and just now catching up on reading the forums.

I just found something in my mounds of papers. I anagramed JUST BEFORE THE STINKY SMELL REACHED YOUR NOSE HE WOULD EMIT A LITTLE WARNING SOUND POOK

I got the following with no letters left over:

Minnesota Twins
Kirby Puckett
World Series
Major League
Toolhouse
Helen Hyde
Fund
Lot

I don't know if it means anything....Any thoughts?

Peggy

hello to all,and i hope everyone is having success... im back after a brain breather

i was looking up celtic knots and came across a celtic alphabet called ogham, rather than try to explain it go to http://www.ancientscripts.com/ogham.html another place is
http://www.tylwythteg.com/tylwthteg/ogham.html this site also discusses fairie faith and wicca symbols(kinda strange) but anyway, the ogham alphabet could have easily been hidden in the illustrations if you check those sites youll see what i mean

just had a thought that this might relate to the hash marks on the leaf on pg19

Re: Treasure Clue, man your kelp?

Brain - I saw the stuff you are referring to on the 12gems.com site. Interesting. For that matter, there is a lot of interesting stuff on that board if anyone here has "run into the wall" like I have. The only downfall is that you have to register to view anything.

By the way, for all those looking at the illustrations for clues, look in the grass at the bottom of Yorah, where the grass meets the trunk. I can see three or four state abbreviations. Here's an enlargement of what I'm referring to:

(If anybody would like, I can try to enlarge it further)

Wow ! Thats great, please enlarge some more if you can.
I also wanted to say I had found 12 gems before I knew about
any of the other sites. Anyway they are really great over there.
Some of the other sites can get real scary, but I think it helps to
see what kind of ideas are out there.

Re: Treasure Clue, man your kelp?

Sorry this is a bit blurry, I seem to have misplaced the original scan. I think the picture above is more clear.

What other sites do you know of besides this one, ATT, tweleve, and 12gems? I definitely stay away from the ATT forums - too many people cutting down other people's ideas. Not a very nice place!

Luckypony? &? Cegodsy ,? I post over there ran into the site last week . You are right not much action there seems a little slow , but also there's not alot of the other stuff you mentioned . They look a little slow , but seems they are starting to pick up a little . I posted a few pics over there to see if we could get some interestd with some ideas.

Cegodsey , thanks for the picture looks good . Gonna blow it up myself here in a minute . Was wondering if you thought the states pictured may be a clue as to the snail and butterfly i found in the tree right above ?

Has anyone found anything on the picture i posted above of rusfuls grotto, at what the finger is pointing at ?

Re: Treasure Clue, can your kelp help?

The finger is pointing at a cauldron that is upside down. That's all I see. I JUST saw the poodle, and I see the duck. As to the picture of Anna in prison, he painted the foreground before the background. Which is a question in itself - why would you do that unless you wanted to leave the background available for adding to the clues later?

As to my picture above, I see IA (upside down), WY, NH, and VA. It could be that there are indicating that Yorah is a map. I'm looking for the other 8 or 9 states listed on this page.

The picture of the beer and tap - if you look at the tap, you can see that it might be the arm of a cabbage patch kid, who is sitting next to Santa. I'll highlight and upload after Survivor.

Re: Treasure Clue, man in a can?

Here's two pics from page 83. The first is Santa and his cabbage patch kid. The second is a dog that the darkling's nose is pointing to. It was created by squishing the page vertically.

Cegodsey , the picture you showed of the dog i was going to post , but i thought i saw the head of the serpent . What do you think ? To me it looked like the head of the snake or serpent that is in the top right hand corner of the page. I do like the dog though.

What do you think as the cauldron upside down looking like a military helmet ? That was my first thought when i saw it . Maybe it's pointing past the cauldron was my other thought and that's when i noticed the broken glass looked as if it was falling .

Do you know of the other pics where he added in the clues later and what he started with then added later ?

On pg 46 I see PA and NY at bottom of Yorah. I see a 6 and
maybe an 0, or if you look upside down it looks like GC on the
bottom left of the pg by the two rocks. If you look at
his name it looks as though something might be behind it.
Can you enlarge his name please.

Thanks, Luckypony

Hey. again just posting as I find things. I was looking at
the large knothole on Yorah. I thought the limb that
looks like an upside down Y also looks like an arrow
at the end and the part of the tree that comes
around right there looks like a hand with a thumbs
up.

Hi All!
I'm back from a wonderful vacation and am excited to get hunting again! I picked up my book with a fresh mind and opened to page 22. I immedidately saw "TROVE" backwards in the branches on top. The ones that are darker than the others. Personally, this page scares me a bit. There is so much going on that I could make those branches spell out just about anything!! Ha!

Lucid, keep up the search! "Faith without works is dead" as I have heard said before.

Lucky...great to see you posting more! How's Texas? As hot as Florida right now? I just got back from FL. and Mexico where the sun was shining and the temps. were in the 90's! Here in Chicago, it's in the 50's!!!

Carol, did you get my e-mail before I left with the different letters I saw? I hope so. Let me know.

A couple of weird things floating through my head I will throw out for pondering...

The snail wears a bandana. B and Ana

The spider does not have the 8 eyes in any of the pics. like Dragonfly says.

Yorah's windows and Dragonfly's mouth look like crosshairs in a rifle scope.

Why are the roots on the tree on the left on the cover, blurred?

On pg. 30, the roots to the tree on the left look like a squid, and the rocks look like mushrooms. And why wjere the lines of Morse code on the inside border added afterwards? They are not part of the painting. Was this something that was changed? Same with the hidden creature and acorns on pg.33. It was added afterward. I guess it does not really matter.

Why is Ladybug wearing glasses and Dragonfly sunglesses?

Why is Grasshopper's body a leaf?

Has anyone thought of making a timeline for each creature? If so, did it help? I keep having these thoughts of my book with all the pages torn out and posted on a huge bulliten board like a crime investigation!!!

Ooooooooooh....how quickly the insanity starts when picking up this book!!! Great to see some new folks at the forum! Welcome!
Glad I'm back!! :)

I think he had to add or change some of his clues because
at his signings he is always talking about how he had to
change one of his spots because a drunk man was where he
had wanted to put it first.

Salkns , Wow ! Glad to see you are back and ready to roll. I got the e-mail , but couldn't open it up . Was really looking forward to seeing it . Try to send again . I'm going to look at the other things you posted and let you know . Glad you had a good time . You have the same weather we are having now in St. Louis .

Hello Everyone,

I've read a couple of references to possibly one of the tokens being in Iowa which gets me a little excited because I live in Iowa...anyone out there to back this up that there really could be one here? When I first got the book (a couple of weeks ago) I noticed a "zip code" number on the inside of the front cover. It's down in the lower left corner of the book between the 2nd and 3rd leg of the spider and you have to turn the book upside down. What I think I read is 51021. However, when I checked out Iowa zip codes, there is no such code! There's 51020 and 51022. I was bummed to say the least. Any explanation of the numbers would be helpful!!! Thanks all, and good luck!
