Treasure Signs

Is there a link on this site about treasure signs? I keep getting "server is busy".

While out and about today I noticed some rock formations, carvings, and such that made me wonder if it was natural or man made.

There are several books on treasure signs. If there is just one symbol it is usually a direction or warning symbol like the turtle which points in the direction to go, the turtle can be tricky. If his tail is straight the head points the way, but if his tail is crooked, the tail points the way. The circle is not used much. It is used to make a sign stand out or to link multiple symbols. I don't have my book handy right now but if I remember correctly the heart is one of the gold indicators. Frank

Hay Casca, you must be getting old like me! I can't locate that Spanish symbol book I have but I do seem to remember a circle being used to show the sun or moon. This together with the heart might mean the site can only be seen during a certain time of the day. It's been years since I have looked into symbols. Did you take any pictures? Little things make a difference like the type of hat the image has and how the turtle's legs are positioned or even missing. The big problem is the waybill defines the the symbols. I remember following mule shoe carvings and finding nothing only to later find out that the waybill said to follow the mule shoe carving BACKWARD, that is follow to the open end. Frank

I appreciate the info Frank. I do take pictures when the light is right and I have a good angle. While if Find entrances, alot of place you cant get to no matter how hard you try. Is it man made, who knows.

Working with fault lines and 10,000 year old lava tubes its a tricky search for sure.

The older sites that pre date the Spansih is the ones Im working right now.
