Whoever that guy is... he is an idiot.

1000 is average rent here for regular 2 bed 1 bath house which is no more than 10 foot from neighbor... in average to low income neighborhood.

Move to better a little bigger... 2 baths... little bit bigger lot... say no more than 20 foot from neighbor... your at 1300 a month.

NO water,,, NO nothing.

And you upkeep,,, everything including yard.

That is average... you want nice neighborhood with some real space... break out 2,500.

You can get a small 900 SQF place for less than 1000,,, but you may not like the neighbors.

Crap holes are cheaper.
The guy that controls the treasury. That’s who that is.

Ours wont be in the bank until next week.
Federal tax was 0 and refund was 0 for 2019 so they will use our direct deposit routing numbers for SS income and those stimulus deposits dont go out until next week.

Oh well, we can still use it then to help stimulate the economy by buying more TP.
After all, we're down to our last 24 rolls. :tongue3:

Did y'all here about the Indiana man who received a 8.2 million dollar stimulus deposit?
Had it for a short time and then the mistake was discovered and poof it disappeared.

No concept of reality.

Such disconnect from the people that it makes me want to puke.

An average person here NO EATING OUT will spend at least 100-150 a week in groceries alone.

No way you pay less than 100 for insurance on car per month... with half arsed insurance.

Cable tv and internet... another 100 per month, Phone... low end 40ish... high end... bah

Car payment ? ? ? Anything else ? ? ?

Sheesh if you drink and smoke... or smoke pot... 1200 a month income ? ? ?

YOU would live in your car... That is... go to work and crash in car.

HEH. THATS reality.

And Florida isn't even the most expensive... try New York.

The cost of living in FLA seems about three time what I'm spending here for the same services. So what's the draw ? my mom and dad lived in port richey for over 30 years , I'd visit them every winter or spring so do know a little about FLA and I just don't understand the attraction . like you stated everything is high in Fla except the wages.

It had to be a mistake , surely he meant 10 days not weeks.

Mnuchin doesn’t live in the world most of the rest of us do!

Just another entitled rich guy!

Give him 1200 and that's it ... bet he wont make his bills for a week.

credit in 2001 or 2008/9, so dont really see it working now
would be nice to get one, my washer died, 200$ repair
just not counting on it
the irs is messing up, friends boyfriends check went to child support
department, and he doesnt owe support, my kids BFs $ went to his
tax prepare co., and i know no one on retirement SS that has a deposit

In my opinion people that continue to receive earned money uninterrupted certainly shouldn’t be mailed “free” money.
This mindless distribution of money is insane!

We are headed down a road not many realize.
Our great wealth as a country will only carry us so far.

I wonder how many millionaires were sent $1200 dollar checks?

INSANITY!

None....To get stimulus you.......

Have filed taxes in 2018 or 2019, or don't earn enough to file but receive Social Security payments.
Earned less than $99,000 for single filers, $136,500 for heads of household, or $198,000 for married filers according to the most recent tax return filed.
Are not claimed by someone else as a dependent.

The IRS bases the amount of your payment on the adjusted gross income (AGI) listed on your most recent tax return: 2018 or 2019.

The maximum payment is $1,200 for single filers with an AGI below $75,000 or single parents (heads of household) with an AGI below $112,500. Married couples who file jointly and have an AGI below $150,000 will get a total of $2,400.

Payments will begin to phase out at a rate of $5 for each $100 over the AGI threshold before ceasing at an AGI of $99,000 for single filers, $136,500 for heads of household, and $198,000 for married filers. There's also an additional $500 allotted to parents who have an AGI within the phaseout range for each child younger than 17.
