Woke up at 6am yesterday before all the festivities & had to get out for a few hours. The forecast was for 70 degrees & I needed at least 1 more outing to last me through these long eastern winters.

I went back to a park I frequent & after an hour, pulled this 1878 seated quarter. She was 8 inches deep & during the whole time I knew it was deep silver. The crosshairs for all you explorer users was pegged top right with half of them not showing so I knew this was a keeper. I did a "yeah baby" when I saw the front & searched some more for any others. About a half an hour later pulled a Large cent , I am unable to read the date so I will be soaking this.

Also pulled 2 Injuns, 1 from 1890, the other cant tell yet.

The belt buckle still has the prongs nice & sharp & I am going to use some wd-40 to see if I can get the latch to move.

I am sure glad I got out for a little while & for now I am going o do some research over the winter to find some more places to go to. Hopefully there are some warm breaks to get out some more.

Happy Hunting All !!!!!!
