That's what the homeowner told me, ive heard it so many times before. The owner said its been detected many times over the years and there was nothing left. Managed to score the kg 2, silver clog clasp a couple broache's and a nice colonial button

Seriously those broaches are awsome! Shame the dog looks squished, but that lizard is amazing, id like to see better picks of it also, maybe is very old and valuable

Yeah, the "Ain't nothing there" response just makes me more determined to find something! Some really good detail on the KG2. I would be interested to know how you cleaned it. I've been experimenting with peroxide lately. Excellent finds!
