Unknown badge or Fob 1924

[Texas Yankee]

Hello all, it's been a while since my last post. I've been out a few times with my buddy car91rs. We re researched a few railroad spots in New Mexico and the usual honey hole. The pictures below were found a week ago and the rest this past weekend and yesterday. Any help in identifying the Fob would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy the picks! HH

That is one "rich" looking dump you found there!
Awesome place to hunt...
Good luck!

Nice badges

[Brian C.]

Sounds like a nice place to detect, keep us posted.

[ks coyote]

Those badges are cool. Congrats.

[g-olden years]

You guys are digging fascinating targets! Love to see these! Andi

[Texas Yankee]

Thanks guys... Just a little research and a full tank of gas. I bring the brats and Car91rs brings the grill, lol.

Glad to see that people on here enjoy to see our finds. I'll keep posting...

Today we had perfect weather but came up empty with the exception of this little pin. Looks like a little badge. For some reason I've been pulling out shields lately. Maybe it's a sign I'll find a Texas Rangers or Sheriff's badge . Cross my fingers!

Great fines TY! Love that chauffeur's badge.

[Texas Yankee]

WHERES THE DAM SNAKE LOL

[Texas Yankee]

That's funny! First let me tell everyone what we're talking about...

A couple of weeks ago we went out to Orogrande NM. While I was on the other side of an arroyo car91rs jumped down from the arroyo on top of a black tail rattle snake and before you know it I hear a scream. At first I thought it was a damsel in distress. I yelled back, are you alright and got a response, "SNAKE!"

I said what?! "SNAKE!"

Lmao! Well, needless to say it tagged along for the ride home. I had to play the hero...

[G.A.P.metal]

Wow yankee
Those are some very nice finds....love finding the more personal stuff ...that Locket is cool can you open it ...love the Cupid/Cherub pin.
From the looks and quality... of finds its a near virgin site .
O ya if you were in N.Y. and killed a rattlesnake ....the nutty authorities would arrest you

Gary

[Texas Yankee]

Thanks Gary, there's a lot here in the Texas desert. We don't waste them here, lol. As for the locket I did open and it's like a perfume dip or something.

[Msbeepbeep]

Those are really nice relic finds for sure! Congrats! You just may get your Sheriff's badge yet!
The dump site is impressive!

Didn't anyone tell Car91rs to look BEFORE he leaps!

[Texas Yankee]

I was looking just not for freakin snakes lol

[Msbeepbeep]

Car91rs you probably gave the poor snake heart failure with all the screaming and yelling!
You'd probably want to rip someone's face off too if they jumped on you and started screaming! Lol! Right?

Do us all a favor, LOOK before you leap in the future. It's a long drive to get help.

It's gonna be a toss up between hauling you to the ER or digging up that Sheriff's badge Texas Yankee may have a hard time prioritizing! just say'n.

Seriously be careful.
