During an estate clean up I discovered this plate wrapped in a thick layer of paper towels inside a box in the attic. The plate has an artist picture known as "The Fruit Collector" by an artist named Bartelome Esteban Murillo. This painting was orginally done on canvas around 1675. The plate also has a seal on the back that reads C.A. Limoges Pate. From what I can determine it was painted on bone china but I cannot find a single plate like this on the internet anywhere. The plate is in near perfect condition, no chips, cracks. As you can see the border of the plate is quite artistic. There is no date anywhere on the plate. Does anybody have any idea about this plate? I have researched Limoges but not a single image of this particular plate.

They are considered "collector plates" and as such have modest value, they were made by various firms with a wide subject range. This one sold for $8- 65 C.A. Limoges Pate "Bartolome Esteban Murillo" Plate *Stunning*_????????_GWS Auctions_???? here is the listing showing the price without the photo- https://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDet...Pate-Bartolome-Esteban-Murillo-Plate-Stunning It's not he same painting but it is the same maker and identical style. There were probably a series of these plates produced, each depicting a different work by this artist. Here is another plate by a different maker with the same painting as yours, notice the back- https://www.etsy.com/listing/187303779/echt-cobalt-bavaria-germany-schumann
