use and age of this jug?

how old is this jug? what was it used for and does it have any value? I bought it for $10 and a antique store

Just don't know how much. As far as uses, it could have had anything from Wine to Whiskey. No Makers Mark on it?? Plain ones I have seen sold for as little as $10 to Hundreds. It is consistent with crock jugs. Ebay search that and you will see similar ones. Hope that helps a bit. jgas
