Which'll mean be another 50 years to wait Joe.

I was wondering if it would be OK with Roland if someone posted Walter's real notes on here for everyone to read?
Since this thread is about his notes some of us don't have them. I never looked for them as I thought after the Unsolved Mysteries show they had been given to the fake Roland Gassler. If Roland's still on here maybe he could post them for free so we don't give our money to other unfavorable sources that don't have permission to sell them.
Bill,
Are we 100% sure about this?
Hal,
That's amusing, asking him if he's 100% sure......about anything. What possible difference could it make?
Good luck,
Joe Ribaudo
Makes a big difference. Are you convinced that the museum did anything wrong? I don't see it and only asked for clarification.
Mr. Gassler's estate was responsible for enforcing copyright violations if there were any. That could have been done at any point over the years with one letter from a decent attorney.
Perhaps they did, I honestly don't know.
At the end of the day, if there is no enforceable agreement, Roland should secure the rights if possible and find a reputable publisher.
Or, self-publish.
Hal
Did you that hike at Weavers Needle this fall ?
Hal,
I wouldn't presume to tell Mr. Gassler, or his family, what they should do. I do assume, if that's a course that is open to them, they have already considered it. On the other hand, I do know that Greg Davis is very thorough in acquiring items for the museum, having donated some things myself.
Not many (if any) "reputable" publishers would be interested in a book with such a limited numbers of buyers. Dr. Glover can probably give you more information on that subject.
Hope you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a Happy New Year!
Take care,
Joe

No , I'm not going soon . I'm waiting for Matthew results on the LDM research . Also my " Spirit " is always there .
markmar,
I think that several of us have our ear to the rails waiting on Matthew.
Which is why we have scheduled station stops.Hal,
You might want to be very careful, what with your ear on that rail. That noise you are hearing is probably an oncoming train. The sound of that train will sound really good from an easy-chair in your front room, but if your head is still on those tracks when the train gets there, it won't sound so sweet. Conductor
don't care who's on that track, he's just got to get to the end of the line. Sounds like a good Country Western song in there somewhere.
Take care,
Joe Ribaudo
Hi Kraig,
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a great 2016.
I do wish you were still posting here. I miss your historical perspective and true facts. Believe you could add a great deal to the Gassler topic. Most of us can't or don't want to spend the time that you have in your source's collection. Probably the best collection on the LDM in existence......anywhere. If you should want to talk, you have my email, as well as my phone #.
Good luck,
Joe Ribaudo

One of my goals for 2016 is to focus on the quality (accuracy) of the information being provided and less on the source (personality) providing it.
Joe,
I think right now, Matthew is on Peter's Mesa. He said he was planning on spending a while out there.
