Hey guys, Got out to the cellar hole that i just got the old copper trifecta and the sword hilt. Man this place is on fire! I'm still in disbelief. Ill let the pics do the talking!

with the glove on your hand I'm led to believe that your belt plate was that pristine coming out of the ground, now that's condition!
the coins are in decent shape and very nice patina, kind soil

I have always loved that particular plate and would love to dig one myself. Yours is a beautiful example. But I have to tell you it is post War of 1812. I don't have my book on me but I'm pretty sure it's 1820s.

These woods have been pounded for years actually. Ive even been told so by a guy who has been doing just that for about 20 years haha. There are the obvious signs of iron objects on logs and against trees to say it has. There are no obvious signals left. I actually had to lift a foundation stone to get that plate. Everything is iffy but my wife and I don't mind a challenge!
