Watchu got...You ain't gonna believe this!
Well my good ole buddy Buckle Boy dropped by for a few days of Hill Billy Hunting, and we did it in style. We hopped in the ole Yota looking for a place to hunt. I knew of two homesites I wanted to hunt, so we went and spoke with the land owner and he said go ahead. He even drove us out in the field to show us where they used to sit. We started hunting the first site and BBoy dug a sweet solid silver spoon handle. He said to me ...if you find the bowl, it's mine. A short while later, I threw him his bowl, he now had a complete spoon. A bit later I dug a two piece decorative star button. We hunted for another hour or so digging brass bits and such. Then, bammo I dug an 1892 IH, in great shape! Things started to slow downand we started getting hungry and decided to head to my house for some lunch. After we ate the zaaaaaa, it was time to get back at it. We went to site number 2. Right out of the gate we dug a flat button apiece, then another. We looked at each other and thought this is to easy...like pulling fish from a barrel. we carried on and things slowed down when I asked... hey are you finding anything good? BBoy crouched to the ground, ignoring me like he doesn't hear me, I'm like ok carry on. Two swings later I'm digging my 4th 8 reale of my 4 year detecting career. The first three were counterfeits, and this one turns out to be a counterfeit too.

I yelled over to BB and said ... come here...you ain't gonna believe this. He said you are the luckiest sob I know.
Here's photos of all of our killer finds.

And a photo of the BIG 8, an 1821 Mexico City Mint:
