Disguised as a quarter, maybe a silver half, or that is what the Nox thought.
It was this big, old style thick 925 band, instead.
This style was common in gold for wedding bands back in the first half of the last century and other rings but you just don't see big, thick style plain bands nowadays.
It is old or at least it was worn for a long time, the 925 mark is mostly worn off and there are scratches and marks all over including evidence it was hit or at least grazed by a mower blade.
It came through fine, hard to damage something this thick.
11 grams and size 11, I love the thing and I will probably keep it for myself, it seems to fit perfectly.
Maybe I will sand and buff out all the imperfections or maybe not...it has a lot of character this way.
