Hey everyone went to my bosses house to hunt it mid 1800's ive been there a few times and found some old shotgun shells and mason lids never no coins well until today and omg I had fricking goosebumps up and down my body when I seen it .it came up as a 93 92 on the vdi (any guesses yet) I figured a pop can or something thats the only time numbers ever go that high but not today

I learned something this time the dirt is like sand there so everything is real deep so im gonna dig all the weak signals im gonna hit it with the omega next see if I cant go a lil deeper

Congrats! That's an exciting one for sure!

Thats a nice silver! Something you can feel in your pocket!

Wow, what a beauty! When I enlarged it and saw the "1942", I liked it even more cuz that's my birth year! Sure shows the wisdom of detecting again those places where we haven't found much before! HH Andi

I had just about given up on the place for coins and then turn around and find several coins its crazy how one day nothing then the next like you have never hunted there before

Maybe a lesson here, stop looking at the VDI, not sure how many times I hear statements like that, but you guys seem to be hung up at looking at those things. Not only does it waste time but could waste you finds as well.

CONGRATS!

My sense (hearing) gives me an idea of what it is. I like to guess what it is, no numbers needed, & I'm not normally far off. For those that trust the VDI, I hope they are reading!:hello:

I just noticed you have a nice little bait fish there. LOL

Some hot water and a lil bit of baking soda just put baking soda on it while its wet and then rub the powder with your fingers on the coin
