It will be fun to look back on this thread next November or December and see how close (or far) you are from hitting your mark.

Here are a few of mine in no particular order.

1) Search 1,000 boxes of half dollars.
2) Find a barber dime.
3) Grow my copper cent hoard to 1 ton (currently at 875 pounds).
4) Find a pre 1900 U.S. coin.

In all seriousness...I'd like to maintain my 2011 pace, as it's a nice balance in my life. Goal one: $500FV in junk silver, I'd be content with that over 2012. AND, continue my hoard and not sell ANY, I am in this for the long haul.

I will make my goals a bit "SMARTER" but $500FV is the one that popped off first.

Love this thread already.

In 2012 all I want to do is score one V Nickel, and I'll be more than happy.

Love this thread-
In 2012 I hope to continue to expand my bankroll and dumping capabilities-
Specifically-
Plan to up weekly boxes to around 30-
Find my first pre 64 half(if I dont find it before)

Those seem like decent goals for now- But I have half a month to come up with some more!

3) Find my first 1970 Half
4) Find my first Silver Proof

2011 Has been a good year. I'm short on my goals so far, but had some incredibly cool finds this year.

I'm planning on increasing my crh'ing budget and searching more dime & half boxes. Maybe I can get to 8-10 half boxes a week which would be about about double what I'm doing now. I'm sure I could order more than that (and I might try) from my supply banks but I want to be carefull I don't loose my dump banks.

I've had this 10k figure in my head lately about how much silver I'd like to find next year as sort of a goal but I know it obviously depends on silver prices which is probably even harder to predict over the next year then how much fv I might find. Maybe if I have a good year I might find:

$250 fv of 90% silver (halves & dimes)
$500 fv of 40% silver (halves & more halves)

But that might be too optimistic and would likely require some nice customer half scores - which can obviously affect total figures a great deal :)

And my first (and more) '70D half would certainly be nice and my 1st Barber half and/or an early date silver commemorative half would be amazing to find. :)

As an early New Year's wish to everyone (myself included) - May all your rolls and boxes be loaded and your CRHing dreams come true.

Find at least one silver quarter in a roll. I'm not counting on this happening though.
Have a total of at least 250 silver dimes found.
Find a George V nickel.
Get a silver 50 cent piece or dollar from the bank.
Find a dumped collection, possibly with the help of some friendly tellers.
Complete my dime collection from 1937-now only with coins found coin roll hunting.
Find 5 George V cents.
Find my second George V dime.

Those are my goals as of now, this thread was a good idea.

Well, my goal is to beat this years totals.

Currently sitting on Forty two 40% halves found in the wild.

Currently not a single 90% found in a roll

Did 2 boxes of dimes today with nothing to show for it. So one dime would be nice next year :D

Really though, my goal is to get approx $5,000 set aside to buy halves with this spring This is a small town so it may be hard to do that. Only 5 different banks in this town, one has 3 branches so that will be my dump branch. One ( my bank ) wont order halves. One will even though I am not a member and the other two wont until I become a member with one only allowing me $100 worth of halves a day if they have them.

Needless to say, I need to get three more accounts opened up at least.

My goal is $1000/month in melt value. Unless I start scoring big my realistic total will be in the $500-$600 range, unless I score with CWR like I did this month. Since that score I have struck out, so gas is a consideration for further CWR endeavors. Boxes are more efficient so far.

Great thread, Cards. Some pretty ambitious goals too. Here are a few of mine:

500 40% halves
50 90% Kens
10 Franklins
2 Walkers
1 roll Roosies
1 World Series of Poker bracelet

I am assuming "Cards" in CardsNCoins is for poker right? I am surprised we aren't both goin for a bracelet this year.

For 2012 i would like to find at least one 90% half dollar coin in a box order.
And at least one 40% per 5 boxes of halves would be nice.
Maybe a seated dime find too.

Switch to selling drugs, it is far more profitable.

Lots of people think that, but most street level dealers average less than minimum wage.

At least crh is legal~

I'm going to up my boxes per week, join another large banking conglomerate with lots of branches in my area to dump & harrass all the banks in my area by phone once a day so I don't waste gas for nothing.

I am challenging myself to find 100 ounces in the wild at face value. It's realistic & I know it can be done.
