What Do you Want On Your Tombstone ??

Well my wife, the kids, and myself went camping over the weekend and I was under the impression from a "ranger" that MD'ing was OK, but when I went to get my permit I was told it was a no go .

So I thought I would look around for old thing when I found this 1854 tombstone and then thought it would be neat in the fasion of the TNet car show to show the oldest tombstones that hunters have found So here is my find !

I found this stone in the middle of the bush here in South Africa....

Couldn't capture the pics at the bottom of the page. My cousin who is much smarter than I figured out a way that the page couldn't be searched and pictures could not be captured. It is the genealogy that I share with her. The headstone at the bottom belongs to her direct ancestor. The woman, Sylvia Warren, was my ggg grandaunt, and is buried in Roxbury, Delaware County, NY. The man seated in the pic next to the headstone is my gg grandfather, her nephew, and his wife. His headstone is a GAR headstone from 1930 and is on LI. His wife doesn't have one and is buried on the property of the Frost Valley YMCA retreat/camp or whatever the heck it is.

I was able to save the pics by right clicking and SAVE AS....also, I have a program called SNAGIT, that I can copy a page with also if I can't capture and save the page/photo (but they are for my own personal use though...!)....

I also use a program that blocks from the page being copied or pics taken off it..works darn good too...infact, when you print it out...it comes out blank

I saved that page...will have to come back and read it later....some names are familiar...see if there is a connection.

well I wanna be creamated..however, some of my ashes I want put in pepper shakers in restaurants I hated..on my urn I want ...... a haunting I will go..

My wife and I have an agreement. Whichever is the last to go will cremate the other and hold the ashes. upon both of our deaths (and cremation) the ashes are to be mingled and scattered.
Don't care where as long as we are together.
