This is Shadow, he is my shadow. Everywhere I go he is right there. When I detect in the woods he is the happiest. I dress him in camouflage so he can sneak up on the squirrels! LOL

I go out and detect early in the morning and I am always afraid that he is cold; so I usually throw my coat over him. He seemed to like it just fine.

Maybe a little camo paint on your dogs face would increase his odds? My Toy Poodle stays by me all the time, even when working at home. If she isn't trying to catch grasshoppers, she is laying not far away keeping an eye on me.

LOL, I will work on the camo paint for his face! My dog doesn't bat an eye at grasshoppers, but he has been known to play with frogs and toads! He doesn't hurt them just noses them and makes funny noises!
