✅ SOLVED What is it?

[vadigger89]

I would appreciate any help on identifying the big item on the bottom. I do not know what it is I found it in a field that has civil war relics throughout it. I know the item is brass but I just do not recognize it. thanks

It looks like part of an arm from an antique brass candelabra. Neat finds, Breezie

One of these was posted not too long ago, an it was identified by reale bill as a piece to an andiron. I can't for the life of me find that post!

Creskol, seems like I remember that post too. Depending on the thickness, it could be an andiron part; of course I've seen some ridiculous deer horn looking candelabras too! LOL Breezie

Nice ID Creskol & way to go BK on finding the pic! Breezie (It was good to know it was NOT a deer horn candelabra; what were those people thinking when they made those! LOL )
