Hahahahahaha Living in Kentucky, you just never know what to think when you find something like this ;D

All I could see when I pulled it out of the ground and brushed it off was the word, "Possum" :tard:

I thought, OMG, I can't be LOL

I laughed when I got home and rinsed it off :laughing9:

:laughing9: Let us know when you find this:
I think that possum & potatoes can is from the 'Roadkill' series I mentioned.
I grabbed the images of the canned chicken & pork brains for a project years back.
Here's another with an imaginative name.
Darn, I can't find the image, i believe it was called 'slippery dick', some other type of canned fish. :laughing9:

Yuk ! :laughing9: when i was stationed in Alabama back in the 60,s i knew this good ole boy Dan from Rome Georgia he used to tell me how he would tree a possum with his hound dog at night and shoot the poor thing and bring it home and make possum pie i thought no thanks :laughing7: well one weekend he got a 3 leave and went home and came back with a possum pie and a jug of white lighting drunk as a skunk :occasion14: i had some and some more and a little more OMG !! i was so sick for 2 days after :help: never again possum pie or mountain oysters :laughing7: with white lighting, sardines are fine :laughing9: :coffee2: Nice find though  Jim

Although a sardine has never passed my lips I remember those cans on the shelves of my great-aunt's country store when I was a kid. I pretended to stock the shelves and they were easy to stack due to their shape. Neat find.

I Like that possom tin so much I would frame it and and put it on a wall in the house.! !

Possum brand sardines are no longer made as of 2005.

I remember back in my high school years catching a friends truck parked and placing a can of opened Possum sardines on the manifold. Needless to say I think you can figure out the rest.

MAKE ME LAUGH i call mine klunker it makes klunks every time it goes over a target an in an iron field thats a lot of klunks but when she sings there's a hole

I took a walk down the creek bed this afternoon and came across this. It appears to be a newer can then yours (pull tab opener) and looks as if it was a different packing company. I thought of this post when I saw it so I took a photo.
