Nice relic from the days before Ad Agencies. Good Stuff
I think I recall canned exotic meats like possum & alligator under a 'Roadkill' name

OMG, steelhead! Do you eat that stuff? It kinda scared me when I saw "canned WHOLE chicken"......I was expecting to see beak, feathers, feet and "O" rings! It was bad enough to see that thing coming out of the can into a frying pan! Even the young man in the background looked a little worried. And, those pig brains in a can!! Where in heck do you shop?!

Not trying to offend, but, I don't find any of that stuff appetizing........especially, when it consists of 1170% of one's RDA of cholesterol! :P

I don't care what you call me, unless you call me late for dinner, BUT why in the world would anyone name their brand of sardines "Possum"? :dontknow:

Cracks me up that we are grossed out by eating 'possum, yet we love fried chicken. I've raised chickens....I know what they will eat.....LOL!

My father owned a beef, pork, sheep and goat slaughter house, which I worked in until I joined the military. I can tell you, without a doubt, there was not one body part of any of those animals that was not asked for as an ingredient for some sort of meal or another......Not one part...Well, I should honestly say I can't remember anyone asking for eyeballs, but that is absolutely it. And even being a butcher, the thought of eating some of those body parts even gagged me.
