Okay here's something i noticed when looking at a map of oak island and nolans cross , now im not saying theres anything there but i found the idea interesting enough to share. Kind regards Rick.

There has been so much digging and moving around on that Island in the past 200 years, I wouldn't trust any of it of those land marks.

True , the only thing i could really do is use nolans cross and the island itself as markers. I dont think there's anything there but if someone says nolans cross is genuine then they might find it interesting i guess.

Hi Rikrik, I once had many conversations with the Late Fred Nolan (a Provincial land surveyor) and he once confided in me that he had discovered the cross whilst running a long ruler across his survey map in his office. But the often misquoted measurements between the large boulder's were not precise and that he had moved some boulders with his backhoe excavator, and he said that he was getting so many inquiries from Knights Templar fans that quote: "I wish that I had not started all that stuff". (his words not mine)
To see this complete wide spread cross formation of large boulders on Oak Island you would need a helicopter, or a drone, and I don't think the Knight's Templar had either. This does not rule out the possibility that the Knights Templar did visit and use the covert facility.
The drilled stones were sometimes found to have iron ring bolts cemented into them, they were used for mooring arriving ships, not as markers.
