Hello, as an 85 year old English researcher on Oak Island I have completed a twenty five year old in-depth study of the historic aspects of the enigmatic Oak Island, and my discoveries which are included in my book "Oak Island Treasure Revelations" by Cerris Francis are based on a mixture of fact and probability, I have disclosed some of my findings and theories in my book which is available in various formats and which is being distributed word wide

If I can answer your questions regarding various subjects appertaining to the Oak Island Saga, I will always give you an honest reply. I have been on the island and talked at length in person with Dan Blankenship and I have his signed agreement to work with Fred Nolan ( who also agreed) on my proposed joint treasure recovery project directed by me, unfortunately at the time David Tobias who was the President of the Triton Alliance refused to agree so sadly the very rare deal fell through.

For many years I have been in touch with the old and now deceased Oak Island searchers, and now with the new treasure hunters. I've had a 2025 zoom meeting with Craig and Rick, they have copies of my long awaited book now so maybe this year they might seek my help.
The book contains, the CAD of the great subterranean flood tunnel system beneath Oak Island , Captain Kidd's last signed treasure that depicts Oak Island, the Secret Jetty where treasure laden ship actually anchored, and the real vital function of the empty Money Pit. these are just some of the revelations enclosed that you will not find in other books.

I you want my honest opinion on anything appertaining to Oak Island I will give it to you, but maybe you should read my book first.

Please provide factual historical evidence as to what treasure supposedly is/was buried on the island.

99% of all claims such as flood tunnels, 90 foot stone, etc. have been absolutely proven to be false.

We even have a copy of a letter here authored by Dunfield stating that throughout his massive excavations of the island no flood tunnels were found to exist.

As such we would be interested in actual proof that some sort of treasure was placed on the island.

So far the only treasure generated from the island has been through fictional tv shows and books.

One question...is "there any there"?????

I think he wants us to buy the book. Looks like a waste of money, just more of the same tired made-up nonsense.

Hope the secret jetty is not the u structure
Kidd couldn't possibly have used it - was built in 1782 (dendrochronology), and Kidd had his neck stretched in 1701.

Yep...the "mysterious u structure" has been proven to be just a common wharf.

There have been about fifty books already written about Oak Island, Nova Scotia so what’s new about this one, well I can promise the reader that it is not just another a rehash version containing slightly different changes. The vast subterranean flood tunnel system of Oak Island still protects an impregnable repository filled with accumulated treasure. It is now for the first time illustrated in a CAD, with the ingenious air lock system, this just one of the several revelations contained in this book.

In my book I theorise that a famous seamen called Captain Henry Every who together with the aid of his secret partner Captain William Kidd masterminded a remarkable clandestine operation. Their plan was to seek investment in the colonies for the covert construction a uniquely protected treasure storage vault beneath Oak Island. The reason for this secret task was to convert any arriving miscellaneous items of gold or silver treasure into minted coinage or bars there.

0ak Islands covert storage facility could be flooded and rendered impregnable in just a few minutes; it became necessary to do that when the danger of betrayal by one of their own men (in return for a free pardon and huge reward) threatened exposure and the subsequent execution of many terrified men. The treasure had to be abandoned as the only safe option so they reluctantly flooded the mine and nobody ever dared to return.

The good news for other writers is this; Oak Island hosted an invaluable top secret protected storage facility, and it was the perfect place to securely conceal the lost treasure of the Knights Templar; or any other treasure or valuable items for that matter. The treasure is still down there just as they left it in abject panic, but it is also below sea level, under virgin ground, and booby trapped. The treasure can be retrieved if you know the originally intended method, and then you employ a modern alternative recovery procedure that requires the vital knowledge of where to start.
But my favorite line is from the OP: "my discoveries ... are based on a mixture of fact and probability". In other words, he just made stuff up. If this guy had even a shred of evidence to support any of this he could convince the usual True Believers to at least take a shot at it. Instead, the best he can do is sell books.

The only treasure Oak Island still holds is all the people making money off of Oak Island, whether it be a TV show or writing books. Capitalism at it's finest. You don't have to produce any treasure, just keep talking about and that is enough.

Hi Car-lNC, actually the best I can do this year is be instrumental in recovering the treasure for the present searchers and we are in contact.

mtdoramike, I understand your frustration and that of the other people posting here but there really is still a huge treasure beneath the island, but it's not near the Money Pit. In the last two weeks I have made offered to assist Rick, Marty and Craig on a no win no pay basis to recover the treasure, it's their call now and I can't elaborate on that possible business venture.
All I can say to all you frustrated guys which goes a little way to enhancing my credibility is that Craig Tester has informed me that they have already purchased my book. Ask yourself this; why would they do that if my book is of no importance or help to their quest.

COOI is just an entertainment show. Digging up random pieces of wood can only entertain people for so long (but longer than one would expect) so I would be surprised if they didn't try to incorporate your fiction into their fiction in some way, just to juice up the show. I expect one day you will join their esteemed experts where they dig some new holes and you get to explain how a random piece of wood proves there is a Templar treasure buried barely (but forever) out-of-reach. If you're lucky, they can milk a whole season out of it.

I never said your book was of no importance. I merely pointed out that the only treasure on Oak Island is the people writing books about it or the people producing TV shows about it. EVERYONE claims to know where the treasure of Oak Island is, they have a running list of people offering to show them where it is and as of yet zilch. Maybe your the guy who can produce it, but color me skeptical until you do.

Carl-NC You are correct in some ways but very wrong and a bit unfair in others. It's quite true that you can get only so much millage from showing recovered , wood, china bit of metal and the odd coin, but for twelve years they have (and still are) really trying very hard in some horrible conditions to find the treasure. If they are making some profit on the way after recovering their expenses I personally say good luck to them they have really earned it. In that mosquito plagued swamp Rick Lagina got seriously infected and could have lost his life, yet he still carries on working there, does anyone really believe he just motivated by gaining profit, this man is sincere in his quest for finding the real answers and retrieving the treasure.
The current searchers have tried everything they can and they have travelled thousands of miles and checked out many theories. They have and spent millions in random search projects, they desperately need an edge now, and that's me.
It might interest all you guys who doubt that to know that the Prometheus company who film the the Curse of Oak Island series on the History Channel made me an offer. If I were prepared to except it they would pay me £5,000 to assist the searchers Oak Island Tours. If I agreed to fly over from the UK to assist they pay all expenses for me and three friends. I said that I would if the searchers first made me a offer themselves, but they felt that they could find it without my help. That was about twelve years ago, you know how that has worked out for them.

  • Viewership and Revenue: The show consistently draws millions of viewers, making it one of the most-watched programs on cable television. This high demand allows the History Channel and its parent companies to charge significant amounts for advertising spots.
  • Industry Estimates: Unofficial estimates from 2018 suggested that a single season could generate around $28.8 million in annual advertising revenue, to be divided among the History channel, production companies, and Oak Island Tours Inc..
  • Funding and Profit: The show's partners, Rick and Marty Lagina, have seen their net worth increase substantially since the show began, largely due to their involvement and the show's success, with Marty Lagina's net worth estimated at around $100 million. The show generates enough income to cover the multi-million dollar annual operational costs of the dig.
  • The "Real Treasure": Many viewers and commentators speculate that the true "treasure" of Oak Island is the money made from the successful long-running television show itself, rather than any historical artifact found on the island.

You dodged a bullet Cerris.

Those appearing as 'guest theorists' aren't there for what they know, it's like the screening for those shows like 'Americas Got Talent'.

They are there for their entertainment value; good, cringeworthy bad and nuts.

It's been a non stop parade of assorted dingbats and wannabes all trying to get their 15 minutes of segment time per episode before they are promptly dumped and their sure thing answer is never referred to again.

Except if you proved to be so exceedingly bad and your work so infuriatingly dumb the amount of audience anger you produced had its own publicity value so you were worth being allotted some more production time. Who could forget such exemplars of this as Jovan 'Roman Sword' Pulitzer and Mystic Zena's Authentic Sharpie Pen Treasure Map?

It's why those appearing on The Curse of Oak Island are called 'Kooks of the Week'.

One must consider Cerris, in that 12 years since you talked to them many other people since likewise heeded their call and supplied them with information, perhaps even from sources not imagined to exist.

Which raises a question worth pondering.

Perhaps you'd like to share your opinion :

Would the answer to the Oak Island 'mystery' most likely be found then with one of those few screened and selected to appear as a guest theorist on the show or do you think it would be most likely found in the vast amount of information the Oak Island team have received in over a decade but have decided to not inform the audience about?

What do you think Cerris?
