Whites Prizm IV coil question

I am receiving my prizm IV in the mail shortly and I was wondering two things. First is the 8 inch coil the only one that will work on this detector or is there a 9.5 I can put on it? Secondly I plan to use it at the beach a lot and was wondering if this machine is able to ground balance? The last detector I owned was the Quantum which I loved for it's simplicity and stableness. It had a great ground balance system on it for the beach. Any help would be appreciated and I can't wait to post my first finds!

If I remember right this IV does not ground balance but is preset. This Prizm IV will do OK on the dry sand but would give you falsing in most of the wet.
