That's a lagoon..inland from the beach. And was the closest water to where I found it. I didn't find it on the beach.

Talking about looking at a nice find while driving back home, it takes me five minutes to decide where I should put my artifacts, so they do not get damaged during the drive. Most times, I'll end up with the artifact in my lap, while driving. Is that strange? Honestly?

No not really. Do it myself too. Be careful, I had friend who "had" a nice point sitting in his lap on the way home and got distracted, got out of the vehicle and dropped it onto the concrete driveway.

Man that is nice Gator. Imagine the work that went into that polish. The finest one I have ever found that must have taken days to make was shattered past the bit from usage.Glad yours is still whole. Nice addition to a growing collection. Congratulations.
