Found this 5 g. ring for .25 cents at a yard sale. It's worth about 2.30 in silver. It's out of shape sadly.

Nice looking ring. I'd put that puppy on a ring mandrel and hammer it back in shape and wear it. Congrats!

Well it's a men's ring and I'm a lady so I wouldn't ware it. I could see how much it'll cost to fix it... then maybe I could sell it for more.

Another good sale find. You should just put your detector in the closet !

Nice silver find, congrats & HH

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Score!! Great find, MV! Just like Sleepy sez, that could be easily round again, silver is fairly malleable and a jeweler shouldn't charge much to repair it. Good luck! Ddf.

Fix it stick that bad boy on your toe lol You are becoming a true treasure huntedr and you will get better and better at it kepp it up Tommy

Good eye,
I invested in a ring mandrel many years ago. It was a good move. That is a sweet ring.

Bent or not, you got yourself a good deal on the ring...…..

Examine the photos closely, there are severe cracks and hammering on a ring mandrel will likely cause it to split open. I am a smith who has made and repaired thousands of rings.

Nice job, congrats! :occasion14:
