1970 D Roosevelt Dime Error

After washing a load of dimes, I noticed this error coin.
A Roosevelt dime, that makes the ol' boy look like he has muttonchops...!
Not a subtle error - stood out like a sore thumb...!

Looks like it may have been in a fire. The heat will cause the outer clad layer to separate and bubble up. Is the reverse normal?

Normal reverse, with no corresponding indication of a fire, but a remote possibility, as the "D" mint mark is not convincing... . Yeah, the reverse is harm free...
I guess i will scan it, if you want. Would be happy to, really...!

here is the reverse, with no apparent damage, other than heavy use before getting itself lost...!
The dime still is a bit dirty....

Definitely heat damage in my opinion. There is just no place in the minting process where that could happen.
