Morning-Fla Gal,here. Your 'box' is full so I hope you get this. Am planning on the plates, forks, spoons, napkins, name tags(you did want me to do the tags, right?) Will make baked beans, also. Think I will bring saw horses w/plywood (and, a table cloth), extra plastic disposal bags, and 2 large garbage cans....and,hand sanatizer wipes, and anything else yall can think we need. With this many folks,John, do you think we should chip $$ in for a portable toilet ? Know my septic field would be 'mush'.
Please call @772-388-6617 to let me know this message got to you..... :hello:

I hope you all have a great time at the cook-out. I'm sorry I can't join you. I am up in Northern Manitoba putting new engines in a ferry boat. Temperature yesterday morning was minus 20F, so I will be thinking of you all sunning yourselves on Saturday.

Great thing you are doing here, John. Hopefully next year.

Best wishes to all.

Mariner

I'm bringing 2 bottles of "special wine" --very differant from your run of the mill cheap wines * the RED was rated a 94 * out of 100 scale at "high brow" wine tasting event in 2010 (rex goliath), and the WHITE is made by a small wine bottler-- known as ( fat b a s t a r d * - yeppers its actually called that)

also bringing some gin, tonic and lime & ruby red grapefruit juice .

Marty add this limited edition mug to the drawing :icon_thumleft:

I dont think I will have time to go there but I thik Sam's carries them?

Just got a message from Dell, Raffle tickets have been taken care of.

Aquanut, Leaving the house to catch that Big Silver Bird. Warm up the Gumbo and tell my friend the Dutchman I look forward to seeing him and all the other Pirates tomorrow.

Well, it's all over. It was a great time and good food and music. There werent as many people there as predicted, maybe because of Mo Mo's funeral, work, obligations or the economy, but the ones attending the party were rewarded well. I really enjoyed meeting a bunch of people, and matching the faces with the screen names. Some very interesting folks. There were lots of stories and plans going down. Steve the steel drummer/guitar player/singer was very good. Amazing. Here are some pics from yesterday.

OK, I forgot to shrink them. That was Treasure Hunter -Marty, with his female Vos Marie Electus parrot, a real nice bird. He had a bird diaper he made for it so it wouldnt poop on his shirt. That's the red thing behind it's legs. Pretty neat thing, but I know my bird wouldnt have stood that. I will shrink them and post more.

I had a great time and got lots of pics.More coming.
