75 people....John, do you have the parking logistics figured out yet? :tongue3:

Parking starts in the yard of the unfinished house next door and works it's way out from there. We're going to do this thing in the front yard this year where the will be more shade in the heat of the day. So no parking in my yard. We can also line the street as long as we don't block driveways.
John

I'm heading over to Cecil's now and see if I can renegotiate a new deal! We're up to 82!

John, what is the official start time?

The Steel Drums start at noon. The smoker will be here at noon and the food will start at about 1:30.
But the beer will already have started!!!

I just got back from Cecil's and he assured me there will be enough ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken for a hundred people. Additionally, we're going to have Gumbo, Hotdogs, Hamburgers,
Oysters, maybe a watermelon or two, Bean Salad, Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Desserts, Snacks, Baked beans, Mashed potatoes and other stuff.
If anybody wants to volunteer on the baked beans and/or the mashed potatoes, we'll gladly accept.

I'm leaving now and won't post again until Monday. My computer at home is broke.

Aquanut

I am bringing all kinds of soft drinks. I know I will use Sprite or 7 up for a mixer with my rum. Any other preferances?

Thanks Steve, It helps me to not have to worry about soft drinks. Now I can concentrate on how much beer to bring. :occasion14:
Jeff

I am planning Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite and 7-Up, Sprite zero, Orange soda, Dr pepper. Maybe Ginger Ale. Anything else, or anything I shouldnt bring? I will go to Sam's Club Friday. Planning on 3-4 cases.

Several folks have offered to contribute money to help John (AQUANUT) cover the financial burden of the ANNUAL TREASURE HUNTERS COOKOUT, but he refuses to accept money donations.

Fortunately, this is a democratic brotherhood and John (AQUANUT) has been out voted.

There is going to be a RAFFLE held at the cookout with the proceeds going to John (AQUANUT) whether he likes it, or not.

Raffle Tickets will be $1 each, or 6 for $5. The winning Raffle numbers will be called at 4 PM, at the cookout. You WILL have to be present to win. There will be some nice prizes for the Lucky winners

So far, Prizes that have been donated are, - a beautiful 5X7 Throw Rug, with a huge Skull & Cross bones pattern (value $85) - a 30" Porcelan Doll in Victorian dress (value $50) - a beautiful 3 foot high decorator Carousel Horse on a stand (value $70) - a Coral encrusted Shipwreck Artifact (value $?) - An elegant custom fitted ladies Toe Ring, fitted on site by Trudy Wood (value $20) - a bottle of 2008 vintage Greek wine, compliments of Treasure Works member, Konstantin Mantzouranis (value?)

If any one else would like to donate a prize for the RAFFLE, just post it here and bring it to the 3rd ANNUAL TREASURE HUNTERS COOK OUT. Saturday, April 30.

I am unable to post on TNET, so would someone please relay the RAFFLE message to the TNET Shipwreck board, and if anyone there wishes to donate a PRIZE, ask them to post it on TNET, and bring the prize to the COOKOUT. Many Thanks! Dell
