Treasurehunter and Steve, your birds are gorgeous!!! I've just recently realized how many people have large birds as pets. They are amazing for sure. I'm thinking about the possibility of joining in...I live several hours from Orlando. Would love to meet more of the Florida hunters since I will very soon be a full time resident! Can't wait!

Whitefeather will also be bringing his parrot, Addy. Welcome all you guys and gals who have responded so far. As we get closer to the date I'll start a list of everyone who will be coming. Last years list was bigger than the prior year and I'm sure this one will be longer still! I can't believe nearly a whole year has gone by...It'll be good to see all of us together again.

Greg, I just talked to Les Savage and he's bringing along some interesting stuff. He also gave me Hell for missing his Christmas party.
I didn't know he signed his life away to show the bronze cannon that had been stuffed with gold and silver coins you found. Now I'm really pissed at myself. I was invited, but never called him for the date. Fisheye called on Monday and asked where I was and I went, why didn't you call on Saturday? LOL. Anyway, Let's not let anyone miss this. Invite anyone interested in treasure hunting and I'll work out the details.

I have wanted to go to this since the first one. I am thinking I am going to take the trip is there any good places to stay there that wont kill the pocket? I would be coming from New York. Maybe someone would also like to use me on a hunt for a day or two Im a certified diver. Thanks

The cheapest and closest is Motel 6 at 5300 Adanson St., Orlando, FL 32810. (407) 647-1444.
I wouldn't recommend an extended stay. But O.K. to crash for the night as you journey. It's about 3miles from my house.

Some of you remember my old partner Deepsix47. Well Brad says he'll be coming and he puts together one of the best Gumbos I've ever had. He couldn't make it last year, but says he'll definitely be here this time. His help is a blessing because the man can cook! I'll see what else I can talk him into putting together.
