5 Dollar gold piece

Sunday I found a $5 Dollar Gold piece dated 1886, This to me was a nice find,also found a few
other coins Three cent pieces,2 cent pieces ,and two large cents. The date range from 1844 to 1899.

Those coppas have ABSOLUTELY no corrosion or patina on them. You must have EXCELLENT soil down there.

What kind of cleaning technique did you use?

They definately cleaned up nice.

I would have Left the Patina though.

You've got to love their conditioning; pictures speak for themselves.
If you do go out a hunting, I hope you do find more stories to tell.

I never said she didn't find em! I just thought maybe she didn't know coins and was cornfused as to what she had (which I was informed in a PM is true about a day or so ago) and that she should post pics so that we could all tell her what she had! I will not put my head on the block.
