The roman empire collapsed and it was 200 years before everyone realized it. The tax collectors came less often, then not at all. The soldiers were being paid later and later...then not at all. Word from rome to the outlying colonies just ceased.

In our day it will be much quicker.

I felt it!!! Then when I looked at my metal detector the VDI had a different display...one for pull tabs and a separate one for gold rings...I'll be rich...BWAAHAHA.
