A GUIDE TO VAULT TREASURE HUNTING (Condensed)

The place we dug was at 41.25 feet (15 varas ) on 300/120 degree line with an inline marker (120 degree direction) and was the trap spot. We are looking at a spot straight thru the A frame from the shaft marker at 337.5 degrees perhaps about 33 more feet (unmeasured) into a hillside spot just across the main trail. There is one more A frame above the hillside, in close and uphill (maybe 25-30 feet) at true north south from the hillside place we are looking at. You see the main A frame aligned with the shaft sign as you come up the trail ( the shaft sign being across the wash and thru some trees. The Main A frame is very obvious and just on the wash side of trail and has a lightning bolt on it pointing sideways and up to the right.. The shaft sign marker is across a wash 66 feet from that main A frame.

66foot measurement I have on a current site is between a shaft sign monument and a A frame at 337.5. Isn't that also an old chain measurement used in surveying?
Yes it is but I dont believe they were using a chain as I have found too many regular singular feet such as 35 feet 49 feet 39 feet 117 feet 77 feet 1/3 of 231 etc, that don't correlate with the chain measurements, I believe they used 66 feet because it is half of 132 a 123 number.
I have one alignment with boulders at 156 feet which is half of 312 and the next further boulder that was aligned was at 213 feet, this whole 123 thing is just a variation on the number 3 and the Trinity which I believe is why they liked the Triangles so much as well (3 sides making the perfect shape)
It is very possible that they used Varas and chains on older sites but on the newer ones I am sure they used English feet which a 66 foot chain does not come out equally on (7.92 inches per link 100 links), they did however sometimes break the English foot into 33 English inches which I have found 181.5 feet which is 66 Increments of 33 Inches.

Here's that main A frame , the alignment from it we dug a trap, and the shaft sign across the wash, which would be about a 90 degree turn to the right from the pictured A frame. The trail is on the left of the A frame, about where the people are standing can't see the hillside spot, didn't take a picture of it. it's directly to the left of the people across the trail.

Yeah the 123 thing is also magic/ witchcraft type numbers, I see that a lot as well. often in degrees here on a bigger site.

When we measured between the A frame and the shaft sign , I said it's probably going to be like 66 feet, Lol. I done that so many times, even on 132 and 137.5. Its almost predictable.

I think the gouge in the front of the A frame rock is important, I need to show you something in an email send me one.

The first spot we dug there was trap on right side of hole. Large flat 4x4 vault like lid rock at 8 feet, had to dig under trap to remove lid. nothing under lid. We had a backhoe, no danger to us.

Of course surveyors all use GPS now, but they all used a Gunters chain when they were using optical equipment, not too long ago. It's 66 feet long and has 100 links. Still useful today to mark stuff off in small areas. It's been in use for 400 years.

The 337 degree azimuth (23 degrees west of true north) is significant IMO because of the integer 23. Simple technology could determine this angle thousands of years ago.

That is very cool and would be fun to work.
In my area they are burying the small caches packed in some kind of clay. My metal detector will not pick it up in all metal mode.
But it will if I push in on the pinpoint button.
Originally I missed a lot of caches before I realized this.
Now days I know the Omega clue and can pinpoint the cache in a couple of minutes.
If you are trying to get the information out, this would be a good place to start.
How about sharing the omega clue and a Pic?

There is absolutely nothing illegal talking about treasure or markers or even following treasure trails only in the recovery of a treasure, so divulging treasure information is completely legal and could help people who are trying to piece this treasure hunting info together including myself.
Illegal no, unhealthy yes.
I will gladly share what I know with some folks who are serious and know that there may be repercussions, but not on a public forum.
An old time treasure hunter Dr Roy Rouch helped me at one time or I would have been stagnant in my search.
I am not familiar with the Spanish trail but treasure signs are universal and used by many different organizations.

The entire point of this thread is to let the public know how to find these treasures, and to stop all the secrecy. This is not some legacy being passed down to generations of bloodlines, that way of thinking is what has kept this information in the dark for so long.

I'm posting this private email in a fun tribute to our good friend Rockhopper 2.
He knew who the sentinels were then, & he knew & hunted the Wichitas
where the James brothers spent considerable time. Frank would later
return, build a house, & recover treasures, Locals later recalled..
It's well known... the old Spanish caravans traveled through
there likely for centuries. Arrastras, smelters, slag in caves,
armour, tools, & other time period artifacts been found.

Rocky once told me a Superbowl Sunday Treasure Story, simply of
a man that would go get some gold only on this day every year.
I think he'd be pleased for you all to hear it in his memory.
I recall of his 'ol truckin' days he referred to himself as:
"One of the last of the old outlaws"
Said: "I like to keep a low profile."

You stated "Now days I know the Omega clue and can pinpoint the cache in a couple of minutes."
Were you referring to the symbol?? Ω or ω?
Or the Spanish Omega monuments?

The omega symbol, the final clue.
Im not aware of any Spanish treasure trail here in Missouri or I would be on it!
Good luck in your endeavors.😀

The most knowledgeable person I know about the Spanish Trail is Old Dog. Not sure if he is on here anymore or not. But he would often share his knowledge.
I find it hard to navigate tn anymore as I dont have a computer just my phone.

Seems I've read 1 or twice he'd been gone awhile. I read alot you all's threads & Old Dogs back when y'all were winding down & went quiet.
But what sandy1 knows of all things Spanish, & safely into the vaults, has far exceeded everyone that's ever posted on the subject I know of.
I thought Old Dog was cool & always helpful, but if you study this Guide To Spanish Treasure Vaults sandy1's written & worked on.. (still is),
Since you already know the signs, you will know a Spanish Treasure Trail, even if it's mixed with ancient or the older Spanish, or even outlaw.

Those were fun days! Hot on the trail and getting hotter every day.
Im not second guessing anyone’s experience or knowledge.
I would like to read this thread from start to end but having trouble navigating on my phone.

I need to correct one of my bearings I gave out, It's actually the 202.5/22.5 line not the 337.5 . I must have had that 337.5 in my head from another spot we were measuring to on a spot behind the A frame more in the creek watershed bottom. Anyways between the A frame and the shaft sign its 22.5/202.5 degrees which is still a 16 or 32 point compass (still 66 feet between them). We dug in line at 33 feet from it (lining up the shaft sign larger boulder and the A frame into the hillside dead across the trail, but did not hit it. We got a possible marker at about 2-3 feet deep which I should have hand dug, shaped exactly like the A frame face which probably pointed. We have a another nearby spot that goes exactly perpendicular off the face of the A frame on the 225/45 degree line into the hillside across the trail ( which is a 22.5 degree turn )which we will try in a couple weeks. There's more but it gets complex explaining it in an easy to understand fashion with bearings and measurements and markers. There is another A frame above on the hillside that kind of has a shaft symbol on it but it's done as a filled space made of two fractures instead of empty space shaft sign. Anyways we are not done there yet.
