An Eagle Breast Plate Kind Of Day

Got out for a few hours today to a spot I’ve hunted many times in the past. I dug a few bullets, and then nothing for over an hour. I dug a shotgun shell and next to it I get a deep reading that I figured was junk, but I decided to dig it anyhow. Glad I did because out pops this eagle breast plate. Unfortunately I dinged the edge of it, I guess you can’t win them all. Relic hunting is a lot like life, never give up because you never know what’s just around the corner.
