South west ohio, nothing but cold and snow, wanting to break in my new detector, can't wait till spring.
I,v been driving around making notes of places to hunt, but that's about all I can do for now....

You guys have it good...... Here in Orange County, Vermont. The ground freezes sometime in November and I wont be able to put a shovel in the ground until April/May. This can vary from year to year but this winter is shaping up to be just as I described above.
After 42 Vermont winters I have MANY hobbies

-25 windchill here today, I was going to breakout my swiming trunks if it got to -24. Spring is coming though. The only good thing is hopefully this will kill alot of the Mosquitos.

same here in Wisconsin pretty much hurry up and wait for spring to come along. in the mean time im researching were to hunt which makes it worse because then you got all these places to go but cant because of the weather.

No snow here in South Central Nebraska but ground frozen solid for about 2 feet down. Maybe thawed by April at least that is what I am praying for.

I really don't have a right to complain compared to you folks in the North. I moved away from MI. 20 years ago to TN. So now my "cold" meter is different. But rest assured when its in the teens with a light wind blowing its to cold to MD for me. Can't wait for a break in this with you all either.

Cold as hell in Maine! I actually went out last weekend to a field that gets lots of sun. I've got maps and books spread all over my living room and my girlfriends is about to kill me because I'm driving her crazy with this stuff. Hey, she bought me the T2 SE and the Pro Pointer so this is her fault :-) I did learn that my machine runs fine when it's in the teens. I've included a recent morning temp from my Tahoe. Without the wind chill of course



And yes that's a negative symbol :-)
