Find a stream, look for high flat ground near the stream, but out of the flood plain, with a spring nearby and you will find arrowheads. Be sure and get permission from the farmer.Early spring is best, look for fields that were plowed in the fall, and washed by rain/snow all winter. post some pictures of what u find, good luck.

I would like to get my hands on a topo map overlay on a map of springs.

With apologies to the OP, but this post had me laughing my butt off! Thanks ticm for making my morning a little better!

Ticm your a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad boy to the newbees, but you are kind of funny.:laughing9:

I have never laughed this hard on treasurenet, or any other artifact forum! After all is said, I hope aroppoi actually finds an arrowhead. Then I bet it would make the banner.

I see the Fox River west of Glen Ellyn & Wheaton. It's coming out of those big lakes. I wonder if it's natural and not man made. If those are natural lakes, that river could be even better.

LMAO! (not kidding) ticm, you are too funny on this post! I had to read it twice and I am still laughing - Good stuff
